All students graduating in 2026, 2027 and 2028 (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors) are also required to take an AP, Honors, Distance Education or Dual Credit class upon graduating from Nex+Gen Academy High School.
All freshmen (2029 graduates) are required to take .5 units of Personal Finance (in addition to the current requirements of 1 unit of Physical Education and .5 units of Health); and must include two 1-unit credits of a Pathway Concentration of the student's choice.
Classes that students fail cannot be repeated at Nex+Gen. Instead, they must be taken as a paid credit recovery class, for a cost, at eCademy online.
